Support Your Library

Many Ways to Support

You can show support by donating books, time, and money. By showing your support, you help ensure that Oregon Library will continue to be a special place where people, ideas, and the community can grow.

Thank you for your support!

Donating Money

Monetary gift contributions can be made to your community library at any time!  Gifts are tax deductible and the library is happy to provide you with a receipt. Your contribution can be general in purpose or designated for a specific use. Gifts can be one-time, ongoing, and in the form of bequests or endowment contributions.  All gifts which do not specify a purpose will go to our area(s) of greatest need.

Donating Books

A great way to support Oregon Library is to donate your used materials to the Friends of Oregon Public Library. The Friends will re-sell your donations at their semi-annual Book Sales. Proceeds from the sales help sponsor Library projects and activities not covered by the Library's operating budget.  Contributions are tax-deductible to the extent permitted by law.

Donating Time

Volunteers assist the library in meeting its commitment to its mission to provide quality service. Volunteer opportunities range from pulling items from the shelves to fill holds, shelving, shelf-reading, light cleaning, program help, and more.

Calculate the Value of Oregon Library to the Community

We know you value the services and resources provided by your public library, but just how much are those services worth? How much would you pay out-of-pocket if the library didn't exist, or if these services and resources weren't available at no cost?
