LEGO Creations Expo is August 17 at the new Village Hall! Everyone is welcome to see the creations on August 17 from 2 pm to 5 pm.
Participants bring their spectacular LEGO creations from home and have a chance to win prizes! All participants will receive a bag of LEGO brick candy!
Top Prize will be awarded in each of these five categories: Grades K-1, Grades 2-3, Grades 4-6, Teen/Adult, Team/Family. Winners in each category receive a gift card to Bricks & Minifigs store.

You must register to be eligible for the competion and prizes.

Guidelines and Rules
- Use your own LEGO or similar type plastic brick. Please talk to Kelly if you do not have your own LEGOS.
- Your creation must be an original. Creations made exactly from a kit will not be up for prizes. You can use parts from kits but your creation must not look like the picture on the box.
- Creations must be...
- Portable and come with a box. Since we are offsite at the Village Hall, library staff need to be able to move your creation without it falling apart. It must be STURDY!
- No bigger than 2 ft. by 2 ft. wide and 2 ft. tall.
- Each creation should have a title and a description. You can tell a story in lieu of a description. Each creation will have a table tent. See example on back of this sheet.
- Drop-off and Pick Up of Your Creation:
- Expo is being held at the new Village Hall at 101 Alpine Pkwy.
- You can drop-off your creation anytime on Wednesday, August 16 between 2 pm - 6 pm.
- You can pick up your creations on Thursday, August 17 from 5 pm - 6 pm.

- Judging Criteria:
- Creativity and originality (40%): Clever and unusual usage of the bricks.
- Presentation (25%): How well the creation is setup to tell a story and matches the description.
- Building skill based on age of entry (25%), and following contest rules (10%).
- Top Prize of $10 gift card from Bricks & Minifigs store is awarded in each of these five categories: Grades K-1, Grades 2-3, Grades 4-6, Teen/Adult, Team/Family ($20 gift card).
- All participants receive a bag of LEGO brick candy!
